The Ministers of Labor of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States met in Geneva today the new Director General of International Labor Organization ( ILO), Guy Ryder. In a statement, the Saudi Minister of Labour, Eng. Adel Faqih, who is the chairman of the current session of GCC Ministers of Labour, said that during the meeting the ministers expressed their views on many issues related to GCC labor markets, noting that it was agreed to hold a number of meetings between the high officials of the Organization and GCC Labor Ministers to enhance relations between the two sides. For his part, the ILO Director General expressed his appreciation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its high status at international labor levels.
