Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah held a meeting with the President of the Board of Directors of Isuzu, Suzumi Hussey within several visits by him to a number of Japanese manufacturing and investing companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, Isuzu Chairman said that the performance of the company's factory which was established last year in Dammam achieved an increase in the production rate of 20% above the expected with the production of 720 trucks successfully passed efficiency tests and got the World Isuzu Specifications. Also, Hussey expressed the company's desire to cooperate with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and move forward in this year's work of expansion with the aim of doubling the production of the project to 3 times of the current production to reach 1800 trucks per year to serve the domestic market and export to GCC markets.
