Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the 2nd Arab Forum for Development and Employment will be kicked off tomorrow with participation 21 Arab delegations and more than 55 international delegations. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Eng. Adel bin Mohammed Faqih, Minister of Labor, lauded the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' patronage. During a three-day event, Eng. Faqih added that the forum titled "Towards Social Protection and Sustainable Development" organized by the Arab Labor Organization (ALO), Ministry of Labor, Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) and the World Bank. The forum aims to discuss job creation and social protection exploring the barriers and opportunities, policies and mechanisms of employment support and human resources and background on role of social protection to achieve sustainable development.
