Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local, regional and international issues. A number of newspapers commented on the Crown Prince's visit to Japan as part of his Asian tour. Under the title "Partnership with Japan," Okaz newspaper said that the partnership sought by the two countries will establish strong relationships in all the areas referred to in the joint Saudi-Japanese communiqué and resulting cooperation in the future. The newspaper explained that the statement stressed the importance of strengthening the comprehensive partnership between the two countries in the political, security, economic, and scientific fields and encouraging technology transfer and diversification of industries and infrastructure development.
