A security spokesman of the Ministry of Interior disclosed the details of a fire exchange between a Saudi security force and two fugitives on a list of-the-wanted in Qatif province this morning, killing the two fugitives and two security men and injured another two. In a statement, the security spokesman said the security force was long chasing the fugitives on information including a history of attacking citizens, expatriates and security men and taking part in riot activities in the past. Today's ambush was staged by the security men upon precise information about their hideout in Al-Awamiya village, Qatif Province. The security plan was to have them arrested, but the out-laws started heavy firing at the security men who responded as should be, the spokesman said, adding that the exchange of fire resulted in the killing of Ali Ahmed Al-Faraj and Hussein Ali Madan Al-Faraj, both on the list of the wanted by security. Two soldiers: Sergeant Naif bin Mohammed Khabrani and Agent Sergeant Dlaij Hadi Majrashi were also killed in the skirmish, he said, adding that two security men were injured and rushed to hospital for treatment. The spokesman said two rifles, a big quantity of ammunition, a bullet proof and scopes designed for being installed on weapons have been confiscated from their hideout. He urged whoever obtains information leading to the wanted persons to contact the nearest security body or contact the telephone 990, warning whoever dares to provide shelter for outlaws to be prosecuted accordingly. He reiterated the Ministry's call on all the wanted to surrender to security authorities.
