Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Deputy Commander-in-chief of the country's Defense Force and First Deputy of the Prime Minister of Bahrain lauded the "honorable" positions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud towards the Kingdom of Bahrain which embodied the depth of the strong and extending relations binding the two countries. This came during an audience Al Khalifa offered for the Saudi newly-appointed ambassador to Bahrain Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al Al-Sheikh who came to introduce himself to the prime minister. Al Al-Shiekh added that the Saudi Bahraini relations assert the strategic and important dimension of the two countries' ties which inspire the deep-rooted and common fate and shared future of the two countries and peoples. He pointed out that the two countries attach great emphasis on their GCC ties, noting that Bahrain supports whatever expedites the integration process among the GCC states. He wished the ambassador every success in his tenure in Bahrain. For his part, Al Al-Sheikh thanked the Crown Prince for his interest in supporting the Saudi Bahraini cooperation which reflects the firmness of relations between the two countries in all fields.
