At least 14 people, including a Dutch woman and a Canadian national, were killed Friday morning after a passenger bus fell off a mountain road into a ravine in the northern Philippines, police said. Thirty-one others were injured, dpa quoted Police Provincial Director Oliver Enmodias as saying. The bus fell into a 500-meter deep ravine in Bontoc town in Mountain Province as it headed from Manila to Bontoc. Another Dutch citizen was among those being treated in hospital. Authorities said the weather was fine at the time of the crash, and investigators were looking into mechanical problems or human error.
