Fire fighters have extinguished a forest fire which broke out in a mountain in southwest China's Yunnan Province near midday Tuesday, said local forestry fire prevention authorities. More than 300 people put out the blaze at around 6 p.m. on Fenghuang Mountain, Jinning County, said the forestry fire prevention headquarters of Kunming, the provincial capital. No casualties were reported. Some fire fighters were still clearing the site to avoid resurgence. Authorities are investigating the cause and damages of the fire, Xinhua reported.
