The youth unemployment rate in the eurozone dropped to 23.8 per cent in December, its first drop since May, according to latest data from EU statistics agency Eurostat. A total of 3.5 million people aged below 25 were unemployed in the eurozone at the end of the year, 23,000 fewer than in November.
