Madinah Al-Munawarah, Rabi'I 20, 1435, Jan 21, 2014, SPA -- Islamic culture ministers kicked off their 8th conference in Madinah this evening with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja holding the presidency from Algerian head delegation Rabeh Hamdi. Then the first session started with a discussion of a report on the implementation of the cultural strategy for the Islamic world and ISESCO's efforts to carry out the plan outside the Islamic world. Participants also discussed the executive plan for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques initiative for dialogue among followers of religions and cultures and the Islamic declaration for cultural rights. In the second session, cultural rights in the Islamic world were discussed.
