Egypt Votes Overwhelmingly in Favor of New Constitution

Egyptians have voted overwhelmingly in favor of a new constitution, the final result of a referendum showed Saturday.
According to dpa, election commission chief Nabil Salib said 98.1 per cent voted for the military-backed constitution in the poll held last week.
Salib said voter turnout was 38.6 per cent of registered voters.
