"In Montreux, Secretary Kerry will participate in the ministerial-level and U.N.-hosted International Conference on Syria, also known as Geneva II," the State Department said in a statement. "Secretary Kerry and his counterparts from around the world will launch the Geneva II process, aiming to fully implement the Geneva communique including a negotiated political transition to begin the end of the Syrian civil war." "In Davos, Secretary Kerry will deliver remarks at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum on the United States' commitment to and engagement in the Middle East region," the statement said.
