Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura held here today its 4th ordinary session. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Fahad bin Meted Al-Hamad, Assistant Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, said that the council discussed a number of issues on its agenda. Al-Shura council demanded that the Saudi Bank for Credit and Savings raise its current lending capacity and allow for more incentives. It also approved a draft cooperation and strategic dialog memorandum between the GCC countries and Japan. The council also discussed a report of the Telecommunication, Transport and Information Technology Committee regarding an annual report of the Saudi Airlines General Corporation for the fiscal year 1433/1434H. The council also discussed a report of the Health and Environment Affairs Committee regarding an annual report of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority for the fiscal year 1433/1343H.
