Minister of Foreign Affairs Confirms Depth of Saudi-US Relations

Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and US Secretary of State John Kerry held today evening a joint press conference at the Royal Terminal at King Khalid International Airport.
Prince Saud Al-Faisal welcomed US Secretary of State John Kerry to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also said "I would like praise the strong relations between the two friendly countries. The three-hour meeting was distinctive and smooth, and this refutes all analyzes and comments that had addressed the Saudi-US relations recently, to the extent that they described these relations as deteriorating."
"The meeting discussed regional and international issues of common interest, particularly issues relating to Yemen, Syria and Lebanon. We also discussed the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The views are identical about the need to achieve a just and lasting peace in accordance with the principles of international legitimacy and resolutions, the principle of land for peace, and the Arab peace initiative," Prince Saud Al-Faisal said.
