Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States, received here today Omran Ridha, Regional Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. During the meeting, they discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the two sides. They also discussed the painful humanitarian situations of the Syrian refugees. For his part, the UNHCR representative lauded the great support provided by the GCC countries in the fields of humanitarian relief.
