Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussain, President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), received here today United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Regional Representative to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States Omran Ridha. At the outset of the meeting, the SPA President welcomed the regional representative, lauding the UNHCR's humanitarian role in providing assistance and services to the refugees, especially in winter. He pointed out the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's role in supporting and providing initiatives in helping the needy people in the world. Al-Hussain also stressed the SPA's readiness to provide media support for the UNHCR through highlighting its humanitarian efforts and activates supported by the donors, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For his part, the regional representative to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States expressed happiness to open with the Saudi Press Agency more aspects of cooperation in the field of news.
