Four people were killed and another injured in a landslide at a tailings pond on Monday in Jinping County of southwest China's Yunnan Province, local authorities said. The landslide at 8:43 a.m. Monday buried five people working at the tailings pond. Rescuers found four dead at the scene. One injured person remains in hospital, Xinhua reported. The victims have all been identified, local authorities said. The landslide was caused by days of continuous heavy rain in the region, according to the county government.
