The Ministry of Interior has specified in a statement periods and locations of hunting for 1435 AH. The statement said, "The Ministry of the Interior announces to all citizens that the Government of the Two Holy Mosques which has been keen to preserve the wildlife in the country, has banned the following among other items: - Hunting of all migratory wild birds of all kinds and by whatever means due to the fear of the transmission of bird flu to humans and poultry through hunting these birds and dealing with them. - Hunting in all forms and methods in the Empty Quarter. The Ministry of Interior calls upon everyone to adhere to that and draws attention that hunting is not permissible but only after obtaining licenses from the Governor of regions in accordance with the regulation of hunting and its executive regulations.
