Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt reshuffled her government Thursday, naming four new ministers, dpa reported. Holger K Nielsen was appointed foreign minister, succeeding Villy Sovndal, who resigned Wednesday over health reasons. Nielsen, 63, has since October 2012 held the portfolio as taxation minister. Karen Haekkerup, 39, became new justice minister, replacing Morten Bodskov who resigned Tuesday. Haekkerup vacates the ministry of agriculture where she has been since August.
