King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain arrived in Kuwait today to lead his country's delegation to the 34th GCC summit. Upon arrival, he was received by Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. In an arrival statement, the Bahraini King expressed hope that the GCC would take important resolutions for the issues on its agenda that aim to enhance cooperation between the group's member states in addition to defense and military cooperation among the GCC countries for the good of their peoples. He confirmed that the GCC would continue its successful march of dealing with big challenges by upgrading the degree of solidarity and integration as well as managing to build balanced ties with the rest of the world based on mutual confidence and real partnership to enable all of them to confront future challenges with more authentic will of commitment, more effective mechanisms of implementation and unified positions before the great challenges that face the GCC countries.
