The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolences to President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi of Yemen on the victims of the terrorist attack against the Yemeni Defense Ministry's complex. In his cable, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said, "We have been informed with great sorrow of the news of the terrorist attack against the Yemeni Defense Ministry's complex in Sana'a. We expressed our firm condemnation and denunciation against this criminal and cowardly terrorist act. In my own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I extend my condolences to your highness, the families of the victims and the Yemeni people, asking Allah Almighty to bestow his merciful upon the victims and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured people."
