The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz has sent a cable to Turkey's President Abdullah Gul in which he expressed condolences and sympathies for the victims of the bombing incidents which occurred in the city of Istanbul. The incidents caused deaths and injuries to a number of Turkish people. In his cable, the King said "As I express to Your Excellency our condemnation of these criminal acts, I extend my sincere condolences and sympathies to your Excellency and to the families of the victims and to the brotherly people of Turkey, calling Almighty Allah to bestow his mercy upon the soul of the deceased ones, wishing the injured ones speedy recovery, and praying to Allah Almighty to preserve the brotherly people of Turkey from every evil."
