Defense ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council concluded their one-day conference in Manama today. Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led his country's delegation to the GCC 12th Joint Defense conference. The meeting discussed a number of issues of mutual concern to the parties aiming at activating cooperation, and intensifying military cooperation for the sake of joint defense of the region, including its stability and security. Following the meeting, all participants, including defense ministers and chiefs of armed forces staff left Manama each en route home. They were seen off by General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of State for Defense Affairs of Bahrain, and a number of senior officers of Bahrain Defense Force.
