The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of implementing the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, emanating from its policy to disarm all weapons of mass destruction under strict and effective international supervision. This came in a speech delivered by Saudi Ambassador to the Netherlands and Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Shaghroud yesterday evening at the 18th session of the Conference of States Parties to the Organization.
