Scouts in the Japanese city of Kyoto have announced their joining of the project of World Scout Messengers of Peace and the activation of its events during the 23rd World Scout Jamboree to be hosted by Japan in 2015, with the participation of more than 45,000 Scouts from various countries around the world. This came during the closing ceremony of the 66th meetings of Fellowship of Baden- Powell hosted by the city of Kyoto in the presence of the Secretary General of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammar, Memember of World Scout Committee Dr. Abdullah Al-Fahd , and Saudi Ambassador to Japan Dr Abdulaziz Abdulsattar Turkistani.
