Sweden's King and Honorary Chairman of World Scout Finance Fund Carl Gustaf has commended the results achieved so far from the project of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud entitled "Messengers of Peace" launched in Jeddah in late 2011, set for its continuance until the year 2020. The Project envisions that the number of Messengers of Peace shall reach 20 million scouts out of 31 million scouts around the world. This came during his inauguration of the projects of Messengers of Peace in Mexico with the participation of members of the Fellowship of Baden-Powell, and Vice President of Saudi Arabian Scout Association and Member of World Scout Committee Dr. Abdullah Al-Fahd, During the ceremony, the Sweden's King was briefed by Dr. Al-Fahd on a report of the activities of the messengers of peace in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Al-Fahd handed over to the Swedish King the badge of Messengers of Peace as a gift from Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, President of Saudi Arabian Scouts Association. The Swedish King asked Dr. Al-Fahd to convey his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his initiative of Messengers of Peace and support for it, and the President of Saudi Arabian Scouts Association for his follow-up and continuous support for the project.
