Saudi Arabia Wins a Seat in Board of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Saudi Red Crescent Authority, has won a seat in the board of directors of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) for Asia and the Pacific for a four-year term.
This came during the elections in the city of Sydney, Australia today.
A majority of 185 delegates from 189 countries elected the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a seat in IFRC for the term from 2014 -2018.
