Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, met here today with Director of International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC) for Middle East and Northern Africa Elias Ghanem. During the meeting, they reviewed current situations in the region, particularly in Syria. The two sides also discussed aspects of cooperation in the service of humanitarian aims. For his part, the IFRC Director conveyed a message from the IFRC Secretary General in which he thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing $1 million as a contribution to bridge the digital gap of the poverty national associations in addition to the Kingdom's contributions in the humanitarian field.
