AlHijjah 25, 1434, Oct 30, 2013, SPA -- The President of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein received at his office in Riyadh today the Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdulsattar Issa. During the meeting, they reviewed the brotherly relations between the two countries in various fields, including the information cooperation. At the outset of the meeting, President Al-Hussein welcomed the Lebanese ambassador and thanked him for this visit, which reflects distinguished relations between the two countries in various fields including the information sphere. He also briefed him on the ongoing preparations for the IV News Agencies World Congress (IV-NAWC), to be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period from 13 to 17 Muhrram 1435 H. corresponding to 17 to 21 November 2013, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud under the title "Reshaping the News Agency in the 21st Century" and lasts three days. The Lebanese National Information Agency will participate in the Congress. The SPA President accompanied the Lebanese Ambassador on a tour of various departments of the agency, during which he was briefed on its multi- media activities and mechanisms of action. Ambassador Issa expressed his pleasure to visit the headquarters of the Saudi Press Agency and meet its president and employees, and what he has seen of the adaptation of the means of modern technology in SPA mechanisms of action, wishing the Agency and its employees steady progress and development. He commended the overall renaissance and progress being witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields, including the information sphere.
