Gas Leak Kills Six Workers in Spanish Mine

AlHijjah 23, 1434, Oct 28, 2013, SPA -- A gas leak at a mine in north-western Spain killed six workers on Monday, authorities said.
According to dpa, emergency services said at least four other people needed treatment for intoxication in the Emilio del Valle mine, in the municipality of La Pola de Gordon in the province of Leon. Their condition was not immediately known.
The accident happened around 2 pm (1300 GMT) at the mine, owned by Hullera Vasco-Leonesa.
