AlHijjah 23, 1434, Oct 28, 2013, SPA -- Qassim law enforcement authorities vowed today to strictly chase violators of Iqama and labor regulations, effective early next lunar year. Col. Fahd Al-Habdan, information spokesman of Qassim Region police, said his department would like to explain once more to expatriates and business runners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that the following categories will be considered violators as of the first of Muharram 1435 H.: any two parties who don't attest their contract by the nearest chamber of commerce and industry, the availability of labor force belonging to two sponsors in one profession in the same facility, an expatriate who practices a profession other than his main job, a citizen who accommodates an expatriate who is on another sponsorship, an expatriate who works with a different sponsor, the expatriate who works for his own upon consent or without consent of his sponsor, a non-holder of Iqama, a holder of expired Iqama, or who hides out of his sponsor, non-holder of health certificate if his job necessitates holding it, a citizen who provides transportation or shelter for an infiltrator or a foreigner who entered the country on a Hajj, Umrah or visit visa.
