OIC Secretary General Congratulates Azerbaijan on Success of Holding Presidential Elections

AlHijjah 22, 1434, Oct 27, 2013, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu congratulated the Azeri President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of re-electing him as the President of Azerbaijan in a fair atmosphere constituting a significant move towards cementing democracy in Azerbaijan.
In a statement issued today, the OIC Secretary General said: "this election will lead the country, no doubt, to achieving aspirations and hopes of building a prosperous nation."
