AlHijjah 20, 1434, Oct 25, 2013, SPA -- DNA tests have identified a couple in Bulgaria as the biological parents of the mystery girl found with a Roma family in Greece, officials confirmed on Friday, according to dpa. "Sasha Ruseva and Atanas Rusev are the biological parents of 'Maria,'" said Svetlozar Lazarov of the Interior Ministry, referring to the couple from the southern village of Nokolaevo. Ruseva said Maria, the name given to the girl by Greek authorities, was born in Greece, where she had worked four years ago. She denied having sold her daughter. The woman said she left Maria in Greece because she had no money to care for her daughter. The girl, aged between 5 or 6, has been placed in the temporary care of the Greek charity Smile of the Child since she was found with a Roma couple during a police raid on October 16. -- SPA 18:51 LOCAL TIME 15:51 GMT تغريد
