German Business Confidence to Rise in October, Analysts Say

AlHijjah 20, 1434, October 25, 2013, SPA -- Analysts predict that a key survey to be released today will show German business confidence rising for the sixth consecutive month in October.
The Munich-based Ifo economic institute will say its closely watched survey gauging the mood in boardrooms across Europe's biggest economy climbed to 108 points this month from 107.7 points in September, according to a survey of analysts by dpa-AFX.
Based on a survey of 7,000 business leaders, the Ifo's forecast rise comes amid hopes about the outlook for the German economy as well as the economic prospects for the nation's major trading partners in the eurozone and China.
