AlHijjah 18, 1434, Oct 23, 2013, SPA -- China and India today signed an accord to boost meetings between their militaries to avoid any repeat of a tense standoff this year along their disputed Himalayan border, according to UPI. The accord signed followed a meeting in Beijing between Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, currenly on a visit to China. The meeting discussed trade ties between the two countries. The two sides had previously failed to struck an agreement between them to solve the border issue before signing today's accord.
