AlHijjah 18, 1434, Oct 23, 2013, SPA -- U.S. and Russian officials will meet with the U.N.-Arab League in Geneva November 5 as part of stepped up international efforts to hold a peace conference on Syria in mid-November. U.N. spokesman Martin Nesirky said Tuesday that joint envoy Lakhdar Brahimi and the U.S. and Russian officials will meet later the same day with the three other permanent members of the U.N. Security Council - Britain, France, and China.
