SWCC Governor: water desalination is our strategic choice to meet demand for water

AlHijjah 16, 1434, Oct 21, 2013, SPA -- The Governor of Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Ibrahim stressed that water desalination is our strategic choice to meet the growing demand for water.
In a statement after the opening ceremony of International Congress of World Desalination Organization in Tianjin city in China today, he said that the Kingdom occupies a leading position globally in the field of production of desalinated water by 18%. The number of the Corporation's stations is 28 stations producing 3.6 million cubic meters per day, equivalent to 60% of the Kingdom's production.
