AlHijjah 13, 1434, Oct 18, 2013, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues. Locally, all newspapers noted the success of this year's Hajj season at the security, health and organizational levels. Al-Watan newspaper asserted that this success attributed to years of cumulative experiences, great efforts exerted by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and annual permanent endeavours to develop all the systems with regard to Hajj and service of pilgrims. Regionally, Al-Youm newspaper suggested a link between the Iranian nuclear and Syrian chemical weapons, noting that they both are just tools of the same crime whether it had already happened or expected to be happened sooner or later ?!. Finally, on the Syrian issue, Al-Riyadh newspaper pointed out to the conference of Geneva 2, predicting its failure mainly due to the outstanding differences among the Syrian opposition factions, a matter exploited well by Damascus regime without taking into account the suffering of the Syrian people.
