AlHijjah 11, 1434, Oct 16, 2013, SPA -- In a reply to a question of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reporter on the participation of a number of Islamic leaders in this Hajj season 1434H, an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Allah Almighty honored the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve the Two Holy Mosques. "The Kingdom annually receives a number of leaders of Islamic countries who desire to perform Hajj in accordance with their circumstances and conditions. The Kingdom, within framework of its services to the pilgrims, is to provide all ways and organizations which enable pilgrim to perform Hajj rituals easily and comfortably," the source added. Regarding that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has invited the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to perform Hajj this year, the source said that the pilgrimage "Hajj" is a pillar of Islamic pillars and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia never extends any official invitation to perform Hajj which is a religious duty. "The desire of performing Hajj is back to the leaders and officials of the Islamic World," the source concluded.
