Hijja up to yesterday, 232 cardiac surgeries, 44 Castro operations, eleven open heart surgeries, 737 kidney dialysis, and six deliveries have been conducted for male and female sick pilgrims at the ministry's hospitals, Marghalani said, adding that, health services have been rendered to as many as 270,000 patient pilgrims who reported to hospitals and medical clinics in Makkah and Al-Madinah. He added that 1682 patients were hospitalized, with most of them discharged and only 389 are still receiving treatment. Most notable is that the Ministry's health authorities managed to transfer the patients by means of ambulances from place to place so that no sick pilgrim would miss any of his Hajj rituals, Marghalani said. --More 19:18 LOCAL TIME 16:18 GMT تغريد
