AlHijjah 5, 1434, Oct 10, 2013, SPA -- U.S. President Barack Obama would veto legislation by the Republican-led House of Representatives that would extend funding for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) during the government shutdown, now in its ninth day, the White House said Wednesday. The legislation is the latest in a series of House of Representatives bills that the White House has rejected, urging the lower chamber of Congress to instead quickly vote on a Senate measure that would reopen the entire federal government.
