Awwal 19, 1432 / April 23, 2011, SPA -- The Meetings of the 32nd session of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD) Executive Council were held here today under the chairmanship of Saudi Minister of Agriculture Dr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Balghunaim, who is the Chairman of ACSAD Executive Council. In a speech delivered during the opening ceremony, Dr. Balghunaim called for exerting more efforts in addition to cooperating and coordinating to confront serious challenges facing Arab resources in various fields. He also lauded ACSAD's efforts in the field of achieving sustainable agricultural development in the Arab world. The agenda of the session include discussing the General Director's report and ACSAD's work in 2010, in addition to discussing many reports and memos relating to the Center's work.
