AlQa'dah 26, 1434, Oct 2, 2013, SPA -- Prince Mohammed bin Saud bin Khalid, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Information and Technology Affairs and Chairman of Festivals and Events of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia opened here yesterday evening Saudi Cultural Days Exhibition held within the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom and Italy. The Prince cut a ribbon marking the opening of the exhibition including samples of Arabic calligraphy, plastic art, photography, stamps, Saudi garments, a heritage tent, handicrafts and folkloric shows. Addressing the ceremony, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for International Cultural Relations Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sultan Al-Melhem commended the bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Italy and their continuing development in all fields during the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. For his part, Saudi Ambassador to Italy Saleh Mohammed Al-Ghamdi appreciated in his speech Italian cooperation for holding the exhibition. The opening ceremony was attended by Saudi Deputy Finance Minister Dr. Hamad Al- Bazai and a number of Saudi and Italian officials.
