AlQa'dah 25, 1434, Oct 1, 2013, SPA -- At least three people were killed in Vietnam by the latest storm, officials said Tuesday, while dozens were still missing off the Chinese coast, and Cambodia said recent floods have left 30 dead, dpa reported. In central Vietnam, two radio technicians employed by the state-run Voice of Vietnam were killed when their studio collapsed in the strong winds of Tropical Storm Wutip in Quang Binh province, the Central Committee for Storm and Flood Control said. A third person was killed when another wall collapsed, while 23 people were injured and 29,000 households evacuated, it said. Chinese officials said four planes and 22 ships were still searching for 58 people missing from three fishing boats that sank off the Paracel islands in the South China Sea. The rescue teams found another 14 people alive on Tuesday after 16 were rescued on Sunday and Monday, state media quoted Zhang Jie, a spokesman for the Maritime Affairs Bureau in the southern province of Hainan, as saying. A total of 88 people were reported missing after the three boats capsized late Sunday and early Monday.
