AlQa'dah 23, 1434, Sep 29, 2013, SPA -- Jordan has submitted a strongly worded petition to the concerned Syrian authorities after a Syrian shell fell inside Jordan's territory last Thursday. State Minister for Media Affairs and the government spokesperson Mohammad Momani said the Foreign Ministry handed over to the Syrian Embassy in Amman a petition in which it stressed the importance of taking necessary measures to prevent any recurrence of such an incident in the future. The petition said the Syrian shell that struck the Al Falah Mosque, near the crafts city in Ramtha, some 90 kilometres north of Amman, fell during clashes between Syrian government forces and the Free Syrian Army near the Jordanian borders. The shell caused no injuries but wreaked some material damage.
