AlQa'dah 23, 1434, Sep 29, 2013, SPA -- At least four people were killed when a US drone aircraft fired two missiles at a compound in north-western Pakistan near the Afghan border on Sunday, officials said, according to DPA. The house in Darga Mandi area of North Waziristan tribal district was allegedly being used by militants as a hideout, a Pakistani security official said. The identity of the victims was not immediately known, he said. North Waziristan is thought to be a stronghold of the Haqqani network, blamed for some of the deadliest attacks in neighbouring Afghanistan in recent years.
