AlQa'dah 18, 1434, Sep 24, 2013, SPA -- Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom, held at the Embassy in London last night a reception on the occasion of the eighty third National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event was attended by senior state officials in Britain, members of both houses of parliament, ambassadors accredited to the United Kingdom, a large number of members of the Saudi community in Britain and Arab and British media men. The ceremony was also attended by British Defence Secretary Philip Hammond and a number of senior officials of the British Foreign Ministry and other ministries. In statements to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a number of British officials and a number of ambassadors spoke on the anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom. Those who spoke on the occasion included British Defense Secretary Philip Hammond who expressed happiness over the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Britain.
