Quds, Dhu-AlQa'dah 17, 1434, Sep 23, 2013, SPA -- A suspected Palestinian sniper shot dead an Israeli soldier during clashes in the divided southern West Bank city of Hebron on Sunday, the Israeli military confirmed, DPA reported. Local Palestinians threw rocks at Israeli soldiers patrolling the heavily secured Israeli-controlled section of Hebron. During the clashes, a soldier manning a checkpoint was shot in the neck and taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died of his wounds.
