AlQa'dah 16, 1434, Sep 22, 2013, SPA -- President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono of Indonesia opened here today 3rd Islamic Solidarity Games in Palembang in presence of Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of the Youth Welfare and President of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, Saudi ambassador to Indonesia Mustafa Al-Mubarak and a number of presidents and representatives of Olympic committees participating in the games. In his speech during the opening ceremony of the games, Prince Nawaf welcomed the Muslim youth participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games, calling upon the athletes to love, cooperation and peace. "Participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games in its 3rd session in Palembang is a mixture and interaction among youth and sports ideas of the Islamic countries' youth in order to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the peoples of the Islamic world and the unity at the international forums. Gathering of the Muslim youth and exchanging of ideas are among the supreme aims of these games," Prince Nawaf added.
