AlQa'dah 16, 1434, Sep 22, 2013, SPA -- Thailand lodged a protest against the Myanmar Navy for shooting at a fishing boat in the Andaman Sea, reports said Sunday, according to DPA. The protest was issued by the Third Naval Area Command after an urgent meeting of the Thai-Myanmar General Border Committee on the incident off Chang Island of Ranong province Saturday. The Myanmar Navy reportedly impounded the Thai fishing vessel after firing on it, prompting its crew of 14 Myanmar nationals to jump overboard. They were rescued by the Thai Navy.
